Pimp up you Reeboks!!

These stick on crystal jewels I picked up from the Pound shop are my new favourite crafty thing. I will be sticking them onto everything. For this recycle project all I used was half a pack (50p’s worth) some glitter, glue and modge podge…

Before…
These trainers were in the garage waiting to be put into the recycle box. Old, dirty but with still a good sole on them, I thought I would give them a makeover…

After…

You will need…
- Old trainers
- Stick on crystals
- Strong glue
- Silver glitter
- Red glitter
- Modge podge
- Old pot for modge podge and glitter.
- Glue brush.

What to do…
- Glue a line around the outside of the area you want to cover, a little at a time as the glue dries fast (enough for a strip of crystals).
- Take a strip of crystals and place on the glue, moving to curves in the pattern.
- Repeat inwards, going round and round until you reach the middle.
- Pull off a few crystals for any little gaps left and stick in.
- Leave to dry.
- Mix a little modge podge and silver glitter for tops of shoes, brush the glitter glue over the tops.
- Leave to dry.
- Mix some modge podge and some red glitter.
- Paint the red glitter over heels, ( and anywhere else like back or tongue) wrap some tin foil over glue to keep it from drying.
- Repeat above around 3 or 4 times.
- Wash the shoe laces in a bit of bleach, for a new effect.

What do you think?
That looks nice! The bling updated the shoe! #
Thanks 🙂
Cute or what?! I had to chuckle though, I had images if the entire family being blinged up with stuck on gems. Lol. X x
